Cookie policy
In compliance with the Provision of the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data no. 231 of 10 June 2021 “Guidelines for Cookies and other tracking tools”, we wish to inform you about the data processing methods carried out by Famatec Srl., Via dell’Industria, 15 – Frazione Mollaro (TN), tel. +39 0463 461911, as Data Controller, through the Cookies of this site (“Site”).
- What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send and store on the device used by the user to access the Internet (computer, smartphone or tablet), to be then retransmitted to the same sites on his next visit.
Cookies, usually present in users’ browsers, allow us to collect information on the user’s browsing on the website. They are used, for example, to perform computer authentication, to monitor sessions and to store information regarding the activities of users who access a site. They may also contain a unique identification code that allows you to keep track of your browsing within the site for statistical or advertising purposes. Some operations could not be carried out without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically necessary for the operation of the site itself.
While browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies on his device sent by sites (or web servers) other than the one he is visiting (so-called “third-party” cookies) through elements present on the visited site (such as images, maps, sounds, links to web pages of other domains on different servers, etc.).
Some cookies are stored permanently on the user’s device and have a predetermined duration (so-called persistent cookies), while others are automatically deleted when the browser is closed (so-called session cookies).
- Technical cookies, third-party cookies, analytics cookies and tracking cookies
The following types of cookies are used on this site:
- Technical cookies: strictly necessary for the operation of the site or to allow the user a better use of the contents and services (session and functionality cookies). These cookies do not collect information about your identity or any personal data. The user’s consent is not required for the installation of these cookies – which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed or logged out; however, the user may, at any time, limit or block these cookies. If these cookies are disabled, some functions of the site may not work optimally (in particular, the operations that allow the user to be identified may be more complex). For this type of cookie, the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the proper functioning of the site.
- Analytics cookies: these are aimed at collecting information relating to the use of the site (e.g. number of visitors, pages visited, time spent on the site, etc.). These cookies, which can be assimilated to technical cookies, are processed in aggregate and anonymous form to improve the contents of the site and facilitate its use by the user, as well as to monitor the correct functioning of the site. These cookies do not collect information on the user’s identity, nor any personal data as they are only preparatory to the creation of browsing reports.
For this type of cookie, the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the proper functioning of the site. - Third-party cookies: Third-party cookies are managed by a website other than the one the user is visiting and are used to directly or indirectly send advertising messages in line with the user’s preferences and navigation. The site allows the installation of CDs. Social Cookies, i.e. cookies managed by the sites of other organizations (such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube) to integrate parts of the content of these different sites within our website and vice versa, in order to share data relating to the use of services provided by us and by the third parties indicated. For this type of Cookies (profiling and “social”) the user’s prior consent is required;
- Ctracking cookies: used to trace back to specific subjects, identified or identifiable, specific actions or behavioural patterns that recur in the use of the functions offered (patterns) in order to group the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different sizes, so that it is also possible to modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalised way, as well as to send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of web browsing. For this type of Cookies (profiling and “social”) the user’s prior consent is required
With regard to cookies that require the User’s consent, we inform you that, when accessing the home page of the site, a banner will appear containing a brief communication aimed at informing the user on how to provide consent. The site will keep track of this consent, so that you do not have to view the cookie banner again on subsequent visits to the site. The User may, at any time, limit or block the installation of the cookies in question or in any case revoke the consent initially given, without consequences on the possibility of visiting the site and using its contents, by selecting the preferred option directly in the banner.
The user is informed that at any time he can obtain information on cookies by consulting the information linked to the banner.
- Managing cookie preferences from your browser
You can restrict or block the installation of certain cookies by configuring your browser settings by directly disabling the part that manages and controls cookies. This section describes the procedures for disabling cookies on the user’s browser. If the browser you are interested in is not mentioned, please follow the instructions on your browser.
Through the browser preferences it is also possible to delete cookies installed in the past, including the technical cookie in which consent to the installation of cookies by this site has been saved.
However, please note that if you disable all or some of the cookies, the site or some of its features may not be available or function properly and you may be forced to change or manually enter some information or preferences each time you visit the site.
